Transfers Made Simple

“I chose Capital because of the class size and campus. When I first visited the campus, I felt like I was stepping into another place! It truly feels like a quiet little island in the midst of the craziness of the city. I had also heard really great things about the University. Some of my professors at CSCC were Capital alums, so they also recommended that I apply. Also, Capital's Main Street Scholarship for CSCC students was a major driving factor for me.”

Claire Buchanan, Criminology & Sociology, Class of 2025

“From the moment I sent the application in, the process was incredible. I have been so surprised by the general acceptance of me in class – despite the fact that I am many decades older than the students. There are, obviously, some moments when there is a difference between my life experiences and the students’, but the professors are amazing; helping me to adjust or adapt to situations that could have been very challenging otherwise.”

Kelly Muir, Business Management, Class of 2025

  • Capital awards college credit for all courses successfully completed at a regionally accredited college/university, except for developmental coursework.
  • Capital uses Transferology, an online tool that will help you determine course equivalencies and how your credits may apply to your chosen program of study.
  • To see how your individual courses and credits transfer to Capital University from another institution, you can access the Transfer Equivalency Guides.  For specific questions, please email the Registrar at registrar@capital.edu
