College is expensive. We understand that. But study after study proves education is one of the best investments you’ll ever make. We are here to make it as affordable as we can for you and your family. The goal of our Financial Aid Office is to help bridge the gap between your family contribution and the full cost of your education, including
tuition and fees, room and board and books.
As a new applicant—whether you are a first-year or a transfer student—your first task is to complete the
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Once your application has been filed, you will be considered automatically for all available federal and state aid as well as merit- and need-based scholarships that Capital offers. The earlier you file, the greater opportunity you will have to qualify for all available aid. For that reason,
we recommend that you file anytime after October 1. Consult our financial aid timeline to determine application and decision dates or
email a financial aid specialist to find out how we can help you and your family.
