Gold Happy Hour
It was a perfect September evening in Columbus for our GOLD Alumni Happy Hour at Land-Grant Brewing Company. More than 20 graduates from the past decade came together to enjoy drinks, share memories, and reconnect with old friends and new faces. The night was filled with laughter, great conversations, and a strong sense of Capital pride.
Columbus Clippers
Nearly 100 alumni gathered for a fantastic night at the ballpark on June 25. While the Clippers fell to the Omaha Storm Chasers, the Capital alumni spirit was alive and well. Guests enjoyed reconnecting in the Tansky Club, sharing memories, and, of course, taking full advantage of dime-a-dog night. It was a home-run evening of fun and camaraderie!
Christmas Festival Reception
Alumni and friends gathered in the Convergent Media Center to enjoy festive treats before the Friday performance of the annual Christmas Festival. The event brought together multiple generations of the CapFam, who shared cherished memories of holiday seasons past at Capital. It was a heartwarming evening filled with nostalgia and holiday spirit. We hope to see you this December for another unforgettable celebration!
Columbus Zoo Wildlights
A small but spirited group of alumni braved the bitter December cold for a magical evening at Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo. With hot chocolate in hand and s’mores by the fire, they soaked in the dazzling winter scenery. Given the season, the polar bears and reindeer were clear favorites among attendees. It was a chilly but unforgettable night of festive fun.
Columbus Blue Jackets
In February, 100 Capital alumni gathered for a spirit-filled night at the Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Utah Hockey Club game. The evening kicked off with a reception at Nationwide Arena before everyone headed to their seats to witness the Capital University ROTC cadets proudly present the Colors during the National Anthem. After an action-packed game, alumni had the special opportunity to take the ice for a group photo.
