Office of Student Success

Your Success Matters to Us.

Our Student Success Team is here to help.

When you become a student at Capital, you join an inclusive campus environment designed to support your development as a successful student and thriving person. Through all the ups and downs of the college experience, Student Success is here to support you.

Located on the first floor of Ruff Learning Center, the Student Success Office acts as our hub and can serve as your gateway to connection with all the resources Capital has to offer.

Student Success Services

  • Building relationships with students for 1:1 support
  • Connecting students to campus and academic resources
  • Assisting students with transitions to college life
  • Coaching students through challenges and barriers
  • Collaborative planning with students to achieve personal goals

Our faculty and staff care about you and want to see you succeed, so we encourage them to contact Student Success if they think you may benefit from support. In these cases, we’ll most likely reach out to you to see what support you may need. If we reach out, don’t worry. We just want to make sure we’re offering all the help we can.

Of course, you are also welcome to reach out to us directly if you are looking for support. If you have a question and don’t know where to turn, start with Student Success. Stop by the first floor of the Ruff Learning Center or contact us to set up a meeting.
