Biography

Ron spent 30 years in the retail operations world, with progressing levels of responsibility from entry-level supervision to three years as Chief Operating Officer at Arhaus Furniture, 16 years with Frito Lay and 10 years with Lbrands. Ron has been with the School of Management and Leadership for 8 years and has taught in Operations, Marketing, and Advertising teaching in both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Ron also is the faculty liaison with regards to Internships for the Business school to include; Management, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources.

Ron also provides consulting services in the areas of production operations, logistics, and management effectiveness. Ron is a Six Sigma certified Green Belt and Design for Six Sigma trained. Ron is also a corporate trained culture shaping facilitator for two Fortune 500 companies, Frito Lay and LBrands.

Ron is involved in his community through many volunteer activities that include coaching the Westerville Central High School Swimming and Dive team, athletic booster club treasury office, and concessions coordinator for the high school - to name a few. He is currently serving as a Trustee for the Board of Trustees for Drury University, his alma mater.

After graduating from Drury University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, he furthered his academic career by obtaining an MBA from Mississippi College in 1990. Ron enjoys animals, landscaping, and volunteering in his local community with his wife of 35 years, Linda. Ron and Linda have 3 grown children; Austin, Hillary, and Chelsea.
