Faculty staff, students and parents are encouraged to call Public Safety to report the disappearance of an individual. As a safety measure, once it is determined that an individual is missing, Public Safety should be contacted whether an individual is perceived to be at risk of immediate harm or not.
Steps to follow:
- Contact Department of Public Safety.
- Public Safety will record all information from the reporting person and make a determination of the level of risk associated with the missing person.
- Public Safety will follow departmental missing person(s) protocol and will determine if and when to notify appropriate offices and/or agencies.
